FAQs
Everything people ask us before their first class, and a few things they ask after.
New to Pilates
Everything you need to know before your first class.
I have never done Pilates. Which class should I book?
Start with Haute Form. It is classical Pilates focused on form, alignment and breath, so you learn the foundations every other class builds on.
How much is a first class at Haute Pilates?
Your first class is $15. After that, drop in classes are $20, a 2 week unlimited trial is $50, and founding memberships start at $60 a month.
What should I wear and bring?
Fitted clothes you can move in, so your instructor can see your alignment, and grip socks. Bring water.
How early should I arrive?
Arrive 10 minutes early for your first class so we can show you around, check any injuries and get you set up. After that, five minutes is plenty.
How are Haute Form, Burn and Sculpt different?
Haute Form is classical Pilates focused on precision and technique. Haute Burn is slower, strength focused work with holds and time under tension. Haute Sculpt is high intensity, faster and sweatier.

Do you offer childcare?
Yes. Childcare is available during select classes, so you can make time for yourself without putting your family on hold. Classes with childcare are marked on the schedule.
How many people are in a class?
Classes are capped at 12, so your instructor can see and coach everyone in the room.
How often should I do Pilates to see results?
Two to three classes a week is the sweet spot for most clients. Many people feel stronger and stand taller within a month of regular practice.
Can I do Pilates while pregnant or after an injury?
Often, yes, with your provider’s clearance. Tell your instructor before class so they can offer modifications.
